Purpose

Ynysybwl & Coed Y Cwm Community Council exists to:

• Represent and Advocate:
  To serve as the democratic voice for the residents of Ynysybwl & Coed Y Cwm, representing their interests and advocating on their behalf to higher authorities and external organisations.
• Enhance Local Well-being:
  To work proactively to improve the quality of life, environment, and facilities within the community, addressing local needs and identifying opportunities for positive development.
• Foster Community Spirit:
  To support and initiate activities that build strong community bonds, encourage participation, and celebrate the unique identity and heritage of Ynysybwl & Coed Y Cwm.
• Promote Transparency and Accountability:
  To operate openly and transparently, ensuring that Council decisions are well informed, accountable to residents, and effectively communicated.
• Provide Local Services:
  To deliver efficient and effective local services and manage community assets for the benefit of all residents.
